Below you can find information about DART’s holiday schedule for this year. Additionally, the City of Newark will continue its tradition of offering downtown parking at no charge during select days to encourage residents and visitors to shop and dine local and support small businesses. From Sunday, December 23rd through Wednesday, December 26th as well as Monday, December 31st and Tuesday, January 1st, municipal parking meters and lots will be available to use at no charge.

Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, 2018 and New Year’s Eve, Monday, December 31, 2018 – DART paratransit service will operate regular weekday service. DART bus routes in New Castle County will operate on a Saturday schedule. Routes not normally operating on Saturdays will not run, with the exception of Routes 18, 20, 45, 47, 52, and 301, which will operate on a reduced weekday schedule. Intercounty Routes 302, 303 and 307, as well as all bus services in Kent and Sussex Counties will operate regular weekday service. Please reference the specific printed schedule or online schedules at www.DartFirstState.com. SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line train will operate regular weekday service.
Christmas Day, Tuesday, December 25, 2018 – DART statewide services, both fixed route and paratransit, will not operate. SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line train service will operate on a Holiday schedule. View the Holiday Schedule for specific times.
New Year’s Day, Tuesday, January 1, 2019 – DART statewide services, both fixed route and paratransit, will not operate. SEPTA Wilmington/Newark Line train service will operate on a Sunday schedule. Visit www.septa.org.
